baumpflanzung2The Bilingual Montessori School (BMS) thrives on the high level of commitment and dedication of all those involved. Alongside the pupils, the learning guides and the support community, the parents are a supporting pillar of the school community. However, parental involvement is not only an indispensable part of our school concept, it also offers the opportunity to play an active role in the school.

Parental involvement can and should be fun, benefits our children, creates a sense of community, creates identification with the school and offers parents the opportunity to make contacts and actively contribute their interests and skills to school life.

  • Parental involvement is essential in order to maintain, look after and make the rooms and the children's learning environment appealing
  • Parental involvement is useful to supplement and substantiate academic learning with practical, real-world expertise
  • Parent cooperation is essential in order to be able to organize and carry out school events such as the open house and various festivals
  • Parental involvement is voluntary and yet the school, with its unique pedagogy, can only function with the participation of parents.

We conduct regular surveys to ensure our network of experts remains current. Our parents are cordially invited to become part of this network and contribute through workshops, lectures, or by serving as mentors for student projects. Particularly for the 3rd Plane of Development (Ages 12–18), we are seeking partner companies for internships that enable adolescents to achieve the 'Valorisation of the Personality' by providing them with a meaningful role in society and authentic economic experiences.

In principle, all parents who work on a voluntary or unpaid basis at our school are covered by statutory accident insurance in accordance with Section 2 (2) SGB VII.
