The Bilingual Montessori School is a private, state-recognized, privately funded alternative school. The school is run by the Montessori-Fördergemeinschaft Ingelheim e.V., which was founded in 2007 and is recognized as a non-profit organization.
The purpose of the support association is to promote teaching and educational work at the school. The declared aim is to establish an extremely attractive type of school in Ingelheim.
In addition to founding the school, the Fördergemeinschaft has already achieved a great deal. One milestone was the relocation of the school during ongoing school operations in November 2016.
It is not compulsory to join the association, but we welcome active and committed members who support our association. Here you have the opportunity to play an active role in school life, to help make decisions and to shape key developments.

The task of the Montessori-Fördergemeinschaft Ingelheim e. V. is to create the framework conditions for an orderly school operation. Further details are regulated in the statutes. This includes all financial, legal and organizational aspects. The sponsoring association is the employer, contractual partner of the parents and represents the school in all legal matters vis-à-vis third parties. It is also responsible for the maintenance of the school building and the financing of teaching materials. In this environment, close contact with the authorities of the town of Ingelheim, the district of Mainz-Bingen, the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, the supervisory authority and local and state politics is important.
The sponsoring association receives financial support from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate as part of the statutory regulations for the promotion of private schools. In addition, the association is supported by membership fees, grants and donations. We would like to thank you very much for your support, also on behalf of the pupils and the school!
