Like state schools, the Bilingual Montessori School offers the following end of school qualifications:
- Completion of the vocational qualification after successfully completing grade 9
- Qualified secondary school leaving certificate I after successfully completing grade 10
Elementary school
Elementary school is completed with the successful completion of the 4th grade and generally entitles the child to attend lower secondary level. As parents, you decide which type of school your child should attend based on the recommendation from the BMS. Over 90% of our parents decide to keep their children at the Bilingual Montessori School, regardless of the school career recommendation.
Realschule plus
The Bilingual Montessori School offers:
- Students receive the vocational qualification after successfully completing grade 9,
- the qualified secondary school leaving certificate I after successfully completing grade 10.
Your school career doesn't have to end when you graduate from BMS. There are many opportunities to attend a secondary school after graduation.
Transition options
Transition after grade 6
After successful completion of the orientation level (after grade 6) and on the recommendation of the class conference:
• Change to grade 7 of a grammar school
• Continue on to Year 7 at the Bilingual Montessori School
Transition after successful completion of grade 9:
- Vocational training / Vocational school
- Vocational school
- Moving on to year 10 at the Bilingual Montessori School
Transition after successful completion of grade 10:
- Vocational training
- Dual education
- Vocational school
- Higher vocational school
Transition after particularly successful attendance of grade 10 and achievement of a certain average grade:
- Technical college
- Upper secondary school
(Year 11 in G9 or Year 10 in G8). Interested students can also opt for a vocational grammar school.
