The School Parents' Council (SEB) of the Bilingual Montessori School (BMS) sees itself as a communicative link to strengthen the exchange between parents and the school and the interaction in matters that are important for the school and the pupils. The work of the SEB of the BMS is based on a trusting relationship between parents and guardians, the management, the school administration and the teachers in the sense of a shared responsibility for the well-being, education and upbringing of the pupils. The SEB of BMS discusses the wishes, concerns and suggestions of all parents and, if necessary, contacts the relevant committees. Differences of opinion between parents, management, school administration and teachers are dealt with constructively at school - together with the class parent representatives if necessary - with the aim of finding a solution that is acceptable to all parties involved.
E-mails to the SEB can be sent to the following address:
The SEB usually meets every 4 weeks.
The co-determination and participation rights of the SEB can be found in detail in the Education Act of March 30, 2004 (§§ 40-42).
In addition to the framework set out in the Education Act, the SEB plays an important role at our school in shaping the framework conditions of day-to-day school operations. To this end, we have drawn up a role paper together with the board and the pedagogical management in order to clearly define the tasks, duties and rights of the SEB at our school. This role paper is available for download.
