In the second year of the "School without Racism - School with Courage" project, the student representatives (SV) were once again extremely committed and initiated projects to combat exclusion and discrimination. For example, the young people around student representative Emilia Lenz organized project days in classes 1-3, in which various methods (film of "Henry the Hedgehog", evaluation, community games, creative activities) were used to teach children how to prevent exclusion in the classroom.

In order to promote the coexistence of different cultures, the SV had the idea of holding international cooking workshops for grades 4-6. In the school environment, people from other countries were recruited to cook a typical national dish with a class and young members of the student council and eat lunch together. The tables were decorated in typical national colors and there was a short presentation about the respective country.

The highlight of the SV's work was certainly the BMS summer party. In the presence of the guests of honor (Mayor Evelinn Breyer, school sponsor Andreas Bockius, former student representative Janosch Nelißen), Dr. Albrecht Gill from the State Center for Political Education presented the SV representatives with the membership certificate and official sign for joining the "School without Racism..." school network. In this context, all activities of the school year were presented to the school community in a small exhibition.

A big thank you to the students of SV 2022-23 for their great commitment and perseverance!
