The Bilingual Montessori School has been a central part of our pupils' lives for many years. We take this responsibility seriously and strive to fulfil it by offering a wide range of afternoon activities that provide our children and young people with a variety of meaningful leisure options. It goes without saying that we also consistently implement important elements of Montessori education, such as mixed-age groups, individual support and a child-centred approach.

From Monday to Thursday, we offer afternoon care in the form of courses from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. The courses are advertised for each school semester and may vary from semester to semester. A minimum number of participants is required for a course to take place.  Registration is required for this reliable and intensive care. The courses are subject to a fee, which varies depending on the topic. All necessary information and registration forms are available from the school office.

Monday // Creative Club:

Come and discover the world of creativity! Immerse yourself in a colourful world full of fun and imagination. Here, little artists can craft, paint and design. We also want to create new things from old materials. From DIY projects to creative recycling ideas. Here you will learn how to act sustainably in a playful way and have lots of fun at the same time. Let's make the world a little more colourful and environmentally friendly together! I look forward to seeing you!

Monday // Rope Skipping – Jump yourself fit!

Are you interested in exercise, music and cool tricks? Then the Rope Skipping Club is the right place for you! Rope skipping is much more than just jumping rope – it is a sporty mix of fitness, coordination and creativity. To cool music, you'll learn different jumps and tricks, which we'll put together into a little choreography, just like a dance. Whether it's single rope, double Dutch (two ropes and one or more jumpers) or jumping together in one rope – rope skipping requires teamwork. Do you already know a few tricks or just want to give it a try? Everyone from grades 1-10 who is interested in rope skipping is welcome. It's not about who jumps the highest, but about getting moving together and having fun. You will need sportswear and trainers. Join in and just jump it!

Here you will not only learn how to cook and bake, but also why certain foods are good for you and how to eat a balanced and healthy diet. Together, we'll try out simple, healthy and delicious recipes – from colourful vegetable dishes and fruit snacks to cakes and muffins. You can cut, stir, decorate and contribute your own ideas. Whether you already enjoy cooking or just want to give it a try, everyone who wants to discover new foods, eat healthily and prepare delicious dishes is welcome!

Wednesday // Chess:

As a German chess school, chess is very popular with us. Under supervision, children can play with each other and learn new things in the afternoon club. Chess boards, pieces and learning materials are available for this purpose. In consultation with the children and parents, there is the option of attending tournaments or organising them yourself. Experience has shown that the children play with great motivation and enjoyment.
