School social work is a free and voluntary counselling service for parents, students and learning companions at our school. It is made possible by the Mainz-Bingen District Administration. School social work is subject to professional confidentiality, which means that all conversations are treated confidentially. Since 10 August 2026, Anastasia Christ (BA in Educational Sciences) has been working at BMS as our school social worker.

Her responsibilities include, among other things:

  • counselling children and young people who are experiencing problems or conflicts,
  • supporting learning companions with social-pedagogical matters,
  • accompanying learning groups with regard to their emotional and social development.

The school social worker is available to everyone involved in school life as a neutral contact person for questions, school-related difficulties or personal matters.

She is also happy to support parents with the following topics:

  • parenting and life-related questions,
  • crisis and conflict situations,
  • advice on school-related matters,
  • referrals to support services outside the school.

Anastasia Christ can be reached from Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.,
